So You Want to Become A Corporate Trainer?

Two years before leaving Corporate Malaysia in late 2022, I started planning my retirement. And no, not just the financial side. I needed to figure out what to actually do with my time, energy, and decades of experience.

But being good at my corporate job doesn't automatically make me a good trainer.

Teaching adults is a completely different skill set. I spent three years putting in the legwork. I refined my niche, got certified in areas that I feel are important for the job (like BCM and CBT), honed my delivery (I did 25 public trainings under #SuaraKamiAtMukarami in 2024 to refine my teaching style), and learned how to structure my courses and align them to Bloom's Taxonomy so participants walk away with practical skills (not just a nice goodie bag and a certificate!).

I’m still learning and upskilling. But since quite a few people have asked me how to make this transition, I put together this deck that covers:
